Zoning explained · Palm Beach County

Planned Residential Development (PRD) District Delray Beach, Florida

The PRD District provides a residential district with flexible densities in which multiple family and single family detached dwellings are designed together. Density is set by a numerical suffix on the zoning map (e.g. PRD-8). Although the code lists permitted uses, all principal uses and structures must be approved by the Planning and Zoning Board through a Master Development Plan.
