Public/Institutional District (PI) Jupiter, Florida

PI is Jupiter's public/institutional zoning classification, created to classify and regulate public and institutional uses and keep them compatible with surrounding land uses. Only accessory residential, small accessory child/adult care, public utility pumping facilities and public wastewater treatment/utility services are by right; nearly all substantive institutional uses (government, hospitals, schools, religious, recreation) require special exception review by P&Z and town council.
